Description: Fattoria Lavacchio, is an ancient Tuscan farm (XV-XVI Century) situated on the top of the "Montefiesole" hill (450 m), on a Roman route which is nowadays called the "Chianti Rufina wine road", and overlooks the Fiesole and Florence valleys. BR>The Lavacchio Farm holiday resort is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, between incomparable landscapes. At Fattoria Lavacchio you can visit the wine cellars where you can taste excellent D.o.c.g. wines produced by the farm itself. It is also possible to see how the extra-virgin olive oil is produced, following the most ancient methods by using the millstones.BR>The farm have been completely redecorated and furnished with great care.BR>With all it's varied facilities, the Lavacchio farm holiday resort offers 3 different possibilities to spend the holidays: It is possible to lodge in indipendent fully equipped apartments, all with private working fire-place, in "Podere Monterifrassine” ; or either in comfortable rooms or suites with private bathroom in "Podere Casabella" and “Podere Casanova”, both about 200 mt. far from Podere Montefrassine.
Rooms: “Podere Casabella” is the main house where the swimming-pool, the reception, 4 double rooms,1 junior suite and 2 suites, the bar by the pool and the dining room are located.
“Podere Casanova” (250 m. far from Casabella in the direction of the Farm)., has 2 double rooms, that can be used as communicating rooms (special dedicated to families) and one countryard with barbecue.
“Podere Monterifrassine” (a building situated 250 m. far from Casabella too, but in the opposite direction of the Farm) offers: 3 apartments for maximum 4 people, 1 for max 6 people and 1 for max 8 people. All the apartments are provided with a living room with cooking facilities and fire-place.
TREBBIANO (2+2)
Ground floor for disabled people, 45m2 - 1 bedroom with double bed - 1 bathroom - 1 sitting room with a twin sofa bed + kitchen facilities (with oven, fridge, sink and cooking stove) a TV set and fireplace.
CANAIOLO (2+2)
First floor, 45 m2. Can communicate with CILIEGIOLO. 1 bedroom with twin beds (which can be also arranged as a double bed) - 1 sitting room with a twin sofa bed and a kitchen facilities (with oven, fridge, sink and cooking stove) a TV set and a fireplace. 1 bathroom.
CILIEGIOLO (2+2)
First floor, 45 m2 on two floors. Can communicate with CANAIOLO and MALVASIA by a side door.
On the lower floor there are 1 bathroom + 1 sitting room with twin sofa bed and a kitchen facilities (with oven, fridge, sink and cooking stove), a TV and fireplace. On the upper floor there is a bedroom with double bed.
SANGIOVESE (4+2)
First Floor, 70 m2 - 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with double or twin beds) - 1 sitting room with a twin sofa bed, a kitchen corner (with oven, fridge, sink and cooking stove) a TV and large fireplace. 1 bathroom.
MALVASIA (4+4)
Can accommodate a maximum of 8 people. 100 m2 on three floors. Has its own private entrance on the main road, next to the laundry. It can communicate with CILIEGIOLO and CANAIOLO by a side door.
On the ground floor there is a living room with kitchen corner (oven, fridge, sink and cooking stove), a dish washer, a TV and large fireplace.
On the 1st floor there are 1 bedroom with a double bed and a double sofa bed ans 2 bathrooms
On the 2nd floor there is a second bedroom with two twin beds (or a double) + a double sofa bed.
All twin beds can be put together (if requested) to make a double bed.
The twin sofa beds cannot be put together.<
Equipment: On the ground floor of the house there are a common laundry and common garden with tables and chairs. It is possible to use a mobile barbecue that you have to ask at the reception.
In front of the apartments there is the restaurant “ TRATTORIA MULINO A VENTO”, which offers a wonderful selection of Tuscan specialities prepared everyday with fresh and genuine ingredients.
