VAL GARDENA - Selva, Santa Cristina Famous ski area located not far from Bolzano, in heart of the Dolomites. Untill 1918 this area was a part of the Austrain-Ungarian Empire, as the Val Gardena was a part of the South Tyrol. Selva (1563m) and Santa Cristina (1466m) are two beautiful Val Gardena ski resorts: modern ski lifts will bring you to the most famous skiing slopes - Sella Pass, Gardena Pass and Seseda. With its connection to Dolomiti Superski, the world's largest ski carousel and the nearby Alpe di Susi, it is the eldorado for all winter sports lovers. With the Dolomiti Superski pass you have access to all lift facilities in the Dolomites: more than 460 uphill transportation devices and more than 1220 km of slopes.
