| | Day 1 | Accomodation at Molino Rosso 4* hotel in Imola. Brunch "Welcome to Romagna" with typical wine tasting and typical ham, salami and cheese Parmigiano. In the afternoon, transfer to Imola's city centre and visit to Rocca Sforzesca, Palazzo Tozzoni. Transfer to the hotel. Typical dinner “Romagna's flavours” (4 main courses with 4 varieties of Sangiovese di Romagna red wine, dessert). Overnight. | | Day 2 | Breakfast. Transfer to Ravenna, wonderful mosaic city which hosts eight UNESCO monuments: Battistero Neoniano, Mausoleo di Galla Placidia, Battistero degli Ariani, Cappella Arcivescovile, Basilica di Sant’Apollinare Nuovo, Mausoleo di Teodorico, Basilica di San Vitale e Basilica di Sant’Apollinare in Classe.
Facultative excursion with english-speaking guide (180 euro for 3 hours). Transfer to the hotel.
Typical lunch with a selection of Romagna's soups.
After lunch, transfer to Umberto Cesari wine producer. Visit to the vineyards and the production, wine-tasting of three typical wines. Transfer to the hotel. Typical dinner.
